Barcelona coach Xavi concedes Frenkie de Jong could be sold this summer.
Barca need to balance the books with some big player sales and De Jong is on the radar of Manchester United and Manchester City.
Xavi said: "He can shape an era here, but you also have to look at the financial situation of the club. For me, Frenkie is a great player. I like him."
The Barca coach also has higher hopes of Ousmane Dembele, who is locked in new contract talks.
Xavi added: "We are still in talks with Dembélé. It may be that tomorrow he will play his last game for Barça. But it is also possible that he will be extended."
