Barcelona coach Koeman: Braithwaite will be important for us

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman admits he expects Martin Braithwaite to stay this season.

Koeman has made it clear that Braithwaite is part of his project this season, although the club's economic state makes everything a bit unpredictable.

“We are in a situation at the club where we listen to offers in most cases, but Martin is good for us. I think he should stay."

Koeman indicated he was useful in the attack in various roles.

“He's important for us," added the Dutchman. “I like to work a lot with him because he's disciplined and he accepts his role. He plays in different positions across the attack and the other day you saw he can score goals. Let's see."
