Barcelona chief Alemany cannot deny Liverpool due new Coutinho cash bonus

Barcelona chief Mateo Alemany has not denied a bumper bonus will soon be due Liverpool.

Sport says if Coutinho exceeds 100 games played, Barca face paying former club Liverpool a €20m bonus. To date, Coutinho sits on 90 appearances.

The midfielder is fully fit again and played and scored in the midweek friendly win over AE Prat.

Asked about the situation, Alemany replied: "The contracts have bonuses that are easy to obtain, in all areas.

"He is recovering and we need him on the pitch. I will not talk about specific contracts. But he is doing well."
