Barcelona officials have confirmed that the club can sign both Antoine Griezmann and Neymar this summer.

A deal to sign Griezmann is believed to be on the verge of completion with Barça having paid his €120m release clause to Atlético Madrid.

That move is all set to go, but according to a story in ESPN on Tuesday, the Neymar switch is progressing at a much slower pace.

Barcelona officials told ESPN that they are waiting for PSG to “to open the door and invite negotiations”, while the same official also confirmed “it’s a complicated situation, but [signing Neymar] is not impossible.”

It was then revealed that the Blaugrana accountants had looked over the figure and that they ‘can afford the operation, providing there are more sales this summer’.

That could be bad news for the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitić and Ousmane Dembélé, all of whom have been linked with moves away this summer.
