Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is yet to decide on one key position in his starting XI to face Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
That’s according to Barca insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who points towards the question mark as coming in midfield.
With Eric García sidelined, Frenkie de Jong still working his way back to full fitness, Gavi fresh off marking his comeback from an ACL injury and Pablo Torre not quite considered starter material, two of Barcelona’s midfield three to face Bayern have already been decided.
Pedri and Marc Casadó will form the base of Hansi Flick’s engine room.
Moving forward into the 10 role, though, a decision remains to be made.
With Raphinha set to move back out to the left flank after featuring through the middle against Sevilla over the weekend, either Dani Olmo or Fermín López will step in in his place.
Both have only recently returned from spells on the sidelines through injury, ramping up fitness with a view to a crucial run of fixtures over the days ahead.
As things stand, it is Fermín who is considered the narrow favourite to start against Bayern, having managed 25 minutes off the bench over the weekend.
The final call, though, will be made by boss Flick, whose decision could prove itself key to the eventual outcome of proceedings in Catalunya’s capital tomorrow night.
