Scorers: Camara 50', Embolo 57', Mawissa 86'
Barcelona were soundly beaten in their final pre-season clash as they fell to a 3-0 defeat against Monaco courtesy of three second half goals.
Hansi Flick named a relatively strong side for the clash, which included the likes of Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and Jules Kounde.
And it was the Catalan giants who looked likelier to open the scoring as Pau Victor scooped over from close range before Lewandowski fired an effort straight at Phillip Kohn in the Monaco goal.
Dominating the ball, the Blaugrana thought that they had taken the lead 10 minutes before the interval courtesy of Raphinha, only for the offside flag to cut short their celebrations and keep the score level heading into the interval.
But a mistake at the back from Barcelona gifted Monaco the lead just moments into the second half, allowing Lamine Camara to poke Monaco into the lead.
Minutes later, Monaco had doubled their lead through Swiss striker Breel Embolo, who finished cleverly after being slipped in behind the Barcelona backline.
The hosts struggled to break down a stubborn Monaco side, and as they pushed in search of a goal they were punished further in the closing stages as Christian Mawissa added a third to compound the defeat for Flick's side.
