Barcelona were back to their dominant best on Sunday as they beat Osasuna 4-0 at Camp Nou.
Scorers: Braithwaite 30′, Griezmann 43′, Coutinho 55′, Messi 74′
An uber-attacking Barcelona came out of the blocks like a shot here, and really should have been ahead after only five minutes.
Griezmann though, saw his close-range effort cleared off the line and then fired wide from a tight angle moments later.
But it didn’t take too much longer for the home side to take the lead as Braithwaite bundled in from five yards for his first goal of the season.
And just before half-time Griezmann eventually did get his goal, firing in a superb volley from the edge of the are to double Barça’s advantage.
After the break, and it was Coutinho’s turn to get in on the act, as he finished off a superb team move after some great work by Griezmann on the left flank.
Messi was then the fourth forward to find the back of the net as he beat two players and unleashed a stunning effort from the edge of the area.
The Ballon d’Or winner then took his shirt off to reveal a Newell’s Old Boys jersey, one from Diego Maradona’s brief era at the club.
