The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the situation of AC Milan star Rafael Leão.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Barcelona, it is understood, remain on the lookout for reinforcements on the left wing with a view to next season.

Despite the stellar form of Raphinha, Deco and co. want to add to the options at the disposal of Hansi Flick in the attacking third.

And, amid what has proven a difficult start to the season for the Portuguese international in Milan, the aforementioned Leão has reemerged as a leading target.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Leão is starting to get tired of his situation at Milan and his price is being devalued, so Barça are waiting to see if he will finally end up going on the market at a reasonable price.’
