While Barcelona are all set to miss out on Endrick Felipe, they have seemingly turned their attention towards another young gem from Palmeiras in the form of Estevao Willian.

Indeed, according to GOAL Brasil, Barcelona, as well as Arsenal, are monitoring the progress of Estevao, who is just 15 years old and has earned the nickname ‘Messinho‘.

A gifted young prospect, Estevao has played with Endrick for Palmeiras’ youth teams and is regarded as one of the brightest talents in Brazil. Having joined the club from Cruzeiro in May 2021, he has shown great potential and is being tipped for a great future.

Paris Saint-Germain have already shown a great interest in Estevao and even submitted a double offer for him and Endrick recently, which was knocked back by Palmeiras.

And now, Barcelona and Arsenal have also entered the fray for the 15-year-old prodigy’s signing.

The report indicates that both the La Liga and Premier League leaders have contacted Estevao’s entourage to be kept in the loop with regard to any developments over the starlet’s future.

Just 15 years of age, Estevao is yet to sign his first professional contract with Palmeiras. Furthermore, he will only be able to leave Brazil after April 24, 2025, once he turns 18 years old.

However, both Arsenal and Barcelona intend to track the teenager’s progress over the next couple of years. The possibility of either club striking a deal for him, as Real Madrid have done with Endrick, is also not ruled out.
