Barcelona announce presidential election to be held on March 7

Barcelona have announced the presidential election will be held on March 7.

After modifying the sports law, Barcelona have started the process for these to be permitted and it was made official on Tuesday.

A club statement read: “The incorporation of the postal vote will be done through Correos (the postal service in Spain) and their network of offices, human resources and technicians, who guarantee and make possible, with the right certifications, that the right to vote can be done totally securely, for club members in Spain and Andorra."

The electoral campaign will take place until March 5.
