Victor Osimhen may be in the eye of a Clásico storm come summer after a report that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in the Lille striker.
French outlet Le10Sport claims both La Liga giants contacted Lille during the January transfer window to enquire about the Nigerian international’s availability.
No deal was struck, but it sets up the possibility of a battle for the 21-year-old’s signature at the end of term.
Osimhen has made his mark in European competition, scoring two goals in five games in the group stages of this season’s Champions League.
The former Wolfsburg attacker was also on target domestically on Saturday, with his penalty securing a 2-1 win over Strasbourg.
It was his 11th league goal of the season.
Osimhen moved to Lille from the German club last August, and his contract runs until 2024.
