Barcelona will reportedly not pay over €15m for Manchester City defender Eric García.
However, it appears City value the young defender at closer to €30m.
That’s according to a story in ESPN which claims that both sides are at loggerheads over the 21-year-old.
City will hold out for their asking price, despite Garcia being available for nothing next summer.
Barcelona though, are convinced that they can sign their former player for half his valuation and are continuing negotiations with the Etihad outfit later this week.
García arrived at the Etihad in 2017 but has only been a bit-part player under Pep Guardiola, playing 13 times in the Premier League since his debut in 2018.
The Blaugrana are in the market for a new central defender, with Samuel Umtiti believed to be near the exit door and Gerard Pique coming into the twilight of his career.
