Throughout the rest of this summer, FC Barcelona will look to wrap up various transfer operations. The Catalan giants have hardly had too much success in achieving their first team operations, but it seems that progress is being made. With the last days of the market coming up ahead, Barcelona needs to speed up.

Fortunately, they have managed to tie down at least one proper signing so far. As revealed by many reliable sources previously, Dani Olmo was the man who Barcelona managed to acquire from RB Leipzig. A former La Masia talent, he will return to Barça and represent the club next season.

However, before the club can pursue any further targets, they also want to focus on departures. In that sense, they had a couple of names on the exit ramp and some have managed to attract offers as well. One of the players whose departure seems to be quite advanced now, however, is Julian Araujo.

According to Fabrizio Romano, FC Barcelona and Premier League side A.F.C Bournemouth are negotiating the transfer of the 22-year-old Mexican fullback this summer. As per the details provided, it would be a permanent transfer and the current information suggests that it would be a deal worth around €10 million.

However, various details still need to be ironed out from both ends. Barcelona reportedly also want a sell-on clause attached beyond just the €10 million and that is just one of the points that is still yet to be finalized. For now, negotiations continue as both parties look to find a suitable solution.

As per several sources, Hansi Flick seems to think that his right-back position is well-sorted within the current squad. Jules Kounde remains the starter, but players like Hector Fort, Alex Valle, and other possible options have stood out as great alternatives that could be used if needed.
