The 25-year-old Newcastle United striker has already scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in his 12 appearances up to now. He has been in particularly good form recently, as he has scored 4 of his 5 goals in the last 5 games.

But even for this alternative target, Barcelona will face significant competition from other big clubs across Europe.
