Barcelona and Manchester United served up a Europa League classic on Thursday evening.

The headline tie in the competition's last-32 didn't disappoint in any aspect, with the final score standing at 2-2.

Marcos Alonso fired Barcelona ahead in the second half with a header, but Marcus Rashford hit back almost instantly with his 22nd goal of the season.

Rashford then produced some more magic to help put United 2-1 ahead at Camp Nou.

The Englishman's lightning-quick feet bamboozled Raphinha by the corner flag, before his dangerous ball across the face of goal was eventually turned into his own net by Jules Kounde.

However, Raphinha ended up having the final say in terms of goals, his well-aimed cross going through a collection of bodies inside the box and eventually past David De Gea.

Yeah, it really was footballing entertainment of the highest order at one of the most iconic settings in sport.

As well as copious amounts of goalmouth action during the 94 minutes of play, there was a quite a bit of needle between the two sets of players.

Unsurprisingly, Casemiro was a regular contributor in that department.

The midfield enforcer, who was exceptional for United yet again, is never one to shy away from the dark arts on the pitch.

And because he used to play for Barcelona's biggest rivals, Real Madrid, Casemiro had extra incentive to go on the wind up.

So in the 75th minute when he won a duel against Gavi by the corner flag, the five-time Champions League winner decided it was the perfect time to create a viral moment.
