Englishman Marcus Rashford, currently on loan from Manchester United to FC Barcelona, praised young Spaniard Lamine Yamal, calling him one of the most promising talents and tipped him to win the Ballon d'Or in the future, according to his comments in the Spanish newspaper Sport.

Rashford described Yamal as a player with remarkable maturity for his age: "He plays as if he's older than 18 and has all the qualities to become a future Ballon d'Or winner."He also spoke about Yamal's personality in the dressing room: "He's a very talented player, a top-level footballer. What's most surprising is his maturity for his age. The way he thinks and plays. He's far ahead of his years. It's exciting to play alongside him and the others as well."

When asked about Yamal's chances of winning the Ballon d'Or, Rashford said: "Yes, absolutely. If he doesn't win it this year, he'll win it in the future. Dembélé, Raphinha, they all deserve it. It's hard to pick just one, but they're all mature and have had a fantastic season. Lamine is so young that he's bound to win it someday."Speaking about his own experience with Barça, Rashford added: "I'm adapting to the change in environment, the pace, and the style of football, and the best place to do that is on the pitch. I'll make mistakes, but I'll also learn a lot and improve. The quality of the players helps a lot and, as I've already said, for me, the pitch is the easiest place to learn."
