Can Bozdogan is out for the foreseeable future according to ESPN NL. The German (23) has undergone ankle surgery and looks likely to be out of action for up to four months.
Bozdogan said in a statement on the club’s website: “Of course it is disappointing that I have suffered this injury, but please do not worry about me. Continue to support my teammates on the pitch because together we can achieve great things. Behind the scenes, I am doing everything I can to return to the squad as soon as possible.”

Bozdogan has not played since picking up an injury against Sparta Rotterdam on the 3rd of November last year. The former Germany U20 midfielder joined Utrecht on loan from Schalke 04 in 2022, before making his stay permanent in the summer of 2023.
