Manchester City may have received a huge boost ahead of their Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash against Borussia Dortmund as centre-back Aymeric Laporte returned to first-team training on Monday.
The France international was pictured practising amongst his team-mates on Manchester City’s official website.
Laporte missed City’s 2-1 loss against Leeds United due to a hip problem he suffered in training and was on the bench for last week’s 2-1 win against the German giants.
Manager Pep Guardiola will discuss Laporte’s current condition in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
Should Laporte be available, Guardiola will have all of City’s centre-backs at his disposal for Wednesday’s crunch clash.
