Barcelona officially released their away kit for the 2022/23 season, celebrating the 1992 Olympics held in the city of Barcelona. The event has often been labelled as the most-successful modern Olympics, with no boycotts for the first time in over three decades.

The away kit is gold in celebration of the Olympics gold medals, with patterns of the map of Barcelona. The sleeves feature the five colours of the Olympic rings.

This kit has received an almost-unanimously positive response, unlike the home kit, which had mixed reactions. The Blaugranas are about to round off their trident with what seems like a silver third kit.

Contrary to the leaks, the jersey does not seem to be white, but in fact, is grey-ish silver. It features the St. George’s cross in traditional red and blue across the torso, starting just below the collar.

The Nike logo is in black, and the new sponsor Spotify is in white, contrasting the garnet and blue.
