The Lilywhites announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website this evening.
The player has signed an initial two-and-a-half-year deal with Spurs and she joins the club on a free transfer.
Grant moves to North London after a spell playing her football in Sweden with Damallsvenskan club Vittsjö GIK. The defender has also turned out for Adelaide United and FC Rosengård in her senior career to date.
On the international stage, the 22-year-old made her senior debut for Australia in September 2021. She has since gone on to make 21 appearances for the CommBank Matildas in which she has scored one goal. Grant netted for Australia in a 2-0 international friendly victory over England in Brentford back in April.
The player’s arrival at Spurs comes on a day which has seen long-serving defender Shelina Zadorsky leave the club on loan. The Canadian international centre-back has linked-up with former Spurs boss Rehanne Skinner at West Ham United until the end of the current campaign.
Grant becomes Spurs head coach Robert Vilahamn’s third signing of the January transfer window and she will immediately join her new teammates as they prepare to resume the season.
