A huge throng of supporters gathered in Melbourne’s Federation Square to watch the Socceroos take on Denmark in the early hours of Thursday morning their time, and just look at the scenes when Mathew Leckie gave them the lead.
That goal was enough to seal the victory and send Graham Arnold’s side through to the last 16 for the first time since 2006.
