FC Augsburg have confirmed the shock capture of Ricardo Pepi on Monday.

An American international, Pepi has signed a contract until 2026 with an option for a further year.
The clubs have agreed not to disclose the fee but reports over the weekend claimed the deal would be worth around $20m (€17.6m), smashing Augsburg’s club record and making it a record for a player sold by an MLS club.
