Atalanta eliminated Liverpool in the previous round, securing a crucial 3-0 victory at Anfield in the first leg.

Aubameyang, a former Milan, Chelsea and Arsenal striker, warns Gian Piero Gasperini’s men that playing away at Marseille will be even more difficult.

“Anfield? I can guarantee at 200% that the Velodrome atmosphere is exceptional,” the experienced forward told La Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday in an interview published on page 12.

“It’s unmatched, especially on European nights, and it will be like this against Atalanta tomorrow. We’ll have 60,000 fans pushing us and, as we did with Villarreal, we want to pump up the fans and involve them in the opening stages.

“When I was at Arsenal in 2019, I lost a Europa League Final against Chelsea, and now, I want to qualify again and try to win it,” continued Aubameyang.

“European cups are in Marseille DNA and in mine as well. I love to play in these competitions. Atalanta are a tough opponent. Our position in the table mirrors a very strange season, with highs and lows, but I can guarantee that we are highly motivated and we’ll leave everything on the pitch to reach the Dublin Final.”

Aubameyang’s Arsenal lost the 2019 Europa League Final against Jorginho, Emerson Palmieri and Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea, just a few months before the Italian tactician’s appointment as the Juventus coach.

A former player of the Milan Academy, Aubameyang never made his senior debut with the Rossoneri but scored a goal with the first team in the friendly Trofeo Berlusconi against Juventus in 2007.

Atalanta will play in the Europa League semifinal for the first time in history. La Dea are also in the race for the Champions League in Serie A and qualified for the Coppa Italia Final.
