Udinese Calcio is pleased to announce the signing of Arthur Atta to strengthen the team’s midfield department.
The midfielder, who fits the bill of a modern and exciting player with a bright future ahead of him, arrives on loan from Metz until 30 June 2025 with an option to buy.
Born in Rennes on 14 January 2003, he came through the youth ranks at Metz, where he made his first-team debut in 2022/23 and scored once in 16 appearances in Ligue 2, helping the team clinch promotion to the top flight.
In the same season, he netted three goals in 11 games for Metz’s reserve side.
The Frenchman regularly played throughout the 2023/24 campaign, including two Coupe de France ties and 23 Ligue 1 appearances (including two in the relegation play-offs), bagging one goal along the way.
Atta, who has already turned out for Metz twice so far this campaign in Ligue 2, is a regular in the France U-20s.
Welcome to Udine, Arthur!
