Atletico Paranaense go for Man City veteran Fernandinho

Atletico Paranaense are hoping to bring him Fernandinho back to Brazil in the summer.

The 37-year-old stated last week that he would not sign a contract extension with Manchester City.

Fernandinho joined City from Shakhtar Donetsk for £34million in 2013.

Capped 53 times by Brazil, Fernandinho got his start with Atletico Paranaense in 2002.

Paranaense now want the veteran to sign as a free agent, per the Daily Mail.
