Atlético Madrid’s deal for Juventus star Moise Kean collapses | OneFootball

A major update on Atlético Madrid’s long-touted move for Juventus striker Moise Kean has come to the fore this afternoon.

And the news will no doubt come as a blow to all of those hopeful of the Italian international landing in Spain’s capital this month.

This comes amid confirmation that the transfer, at the last, has collapsed.

As per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:

‘Moise Kean’s move to Atlético Madrid on loan from Juventus, currently OFF.’

After Kean was spotted in attendance at Atlético’s victory over Valencia at the weekend, the widespread assumption, in turn, was that the former Everton man’s addition to Diego Simeone’s squad was all but assured.

His medical in Madrid, however, has since given rise to concern amongst the Atléti staff.

This comes with Kean’s pre-existing injury now expected to keep the 23-year-old on the sidelines until at least the March international break.

Both Juventus, and Kean, have therefore been informed that the deal will not proceed at its current conditions.
