Atletico Madrid will be without a number of players for their clash with Levante on Thursday night.

Los Rojiblancos make the trip to Valencia on Thursday hoping to get back to winning ways after failing to win any of their last two.

Diego Simeone‘s men lost to Liverpool in the Champions League before drawing with Real Sociedad over the weekend.

Nevertheless, Atletico are within three points of the top of the table and with a game in-hand heading to Valencia to face Levante.

Levante are still winless and Atleti should be confident of taking all three points, but Simeone has a number of injury issues to worry about.

Geoffrey Kondogbia remains out, while Marcos Llorente and Thomas Lemar both remain absent.

There is some positive news in the form of defender Stefan Savic, who has missed the last three games through injury.

Savic has been in training for the last two days and could be in contention, though he is unlikely to start, especially with Felipe performing well in his absence.

Meanwhile, Koke and Hector Herrera will likely start in the midfield given Lemar and Llorente’s absence, with Antoine Griezmann and Joao Felix operating in the attacking midfield roles.
