Two of Turkish football’s top clubs are expressing a keen interest in the signature of a member of the defensive ranks at Atlético Madrid ahead of the summer.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Stefan Savić as the player piquing attentions.

Stopper Savić, for his part, is set to be on the move over the months ahead.

As much comes amid widespread confirmation that club and player alike have identified the time as right to go their separate ways.

The Montenegrin, in turn, will be moved on for a reduced fee by Atlético this summer, ahead of the expiration of his contract in 12 months’ time.

And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then Savić won’t be short on suitors…

As per the aforementioned MD, Turkish Süper Lig giants Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe are both giving consideration to summer assaults on the signature of the 33-year-old.

The latter also expressed a keen interest in Savić during the winter transfer window, ready to return to the table over the months ahead.

Trabzonspor, too, could yet position themselves in the fray, albeit with Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe, as things stand, considered the front-runners to strike a deal.
