Atlético Madrid set to sign Diego Simeone's youngest son | OneFootball

Atletico Madrid will reportedly sign Diego Simeone’s son Giuliano from Argentine giants River Plate.

That’s according to a story in Marca which claims that the youngest of Simeone’s three children will join up with the Liga giants in January.

El Cholo’s three sons are all professional footballers.

Giovanni is the eldest of the three and is currently on loan at Serie A side Cagliari from Fiorentina.

Gianluca – the middle brother – is currently playing for Spanish lower league outfit Ibiza.

There have previously been reports that Atleti would look to sign Giovanni – who was prolific for Genoa in the Italian top-flight but fell out of favour under Vincenzo Montella at Fiorentina.

The youngest of the trio is Giuliano who is currently aged 16 and will be integrated into Atlético’s youth system from the start of next year.
