Atletico Madrid president Cerezo admits title push now on after beating Barcelona

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo says they're going for the LaLiga title this season.

Cerezo was delighted with Saturday's victory over Barcelona.

He declared, "We are all in the running for the title, anyone can win anywhere.

"We're making a great start to the season and we're playing well. Nine points ahead of Barça? In football, anything can happen, we have to think game by game, we're already thinking about Lokomotiv. Everything is going as planned.

"(Yann) Carrasco? He's a fantastic player, that's why we took him back, we are very happy with him and his performance.

"(Antoine) Griezmann? He is a fantastic player, sometimes the teams are not as they should be and he suffers the consequences. He is a magnificent player and Barcelona will have their good times in La Liga."
