Atlético Madrid monitoring Real Valladolid teenager Iván Fresneda

Iván Fresneda made history with Real Valladolid a fortnight ago when he made his debut with the first team against Real Betis in the Copa del Rey.

Fresneda became the second youngest debutant in the club’s history and the 17-year-old defender is on the radar of several top clubs. One of them is Atlético Madrid, according to AS.

Atlético want to recruit for the right-back berth and have been tracking the Valladolid talent for some time now. Fresneda arrived at Pucela in 2020, and since then he has developed quickly, becoming a member of the club’s first team in the meantime.

Over the coming months he will continue to learn his trade at the Segunda outfit, with a potential move this summer on the cards.
