Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak is adamant they can fight-back against Chelsea.

Chelsea took control of their Champions League round 16 tie with a 1-0 first-leg win.

But Oblak insists: "This is football. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. We still have the second leg and we have to keep our heads up. We can't think of anything else, it's possible to reassemble.

"There's no turning back. Things haven't been going well lately, we're not in a great moment but things will change. We have to think positively: the season is long, there are difficult moments but now we have to show that we are a strong team.

"Too defensive attitude? We always want to defend well, whatever the game plan. We didn't play badly, we played well. When we went back to the locker room I saw everyone with their head held high, all convinced we can pass the round."
