Late Thursday evening, Atlético Madrid Femenino confirmed Hedvig Lindahl has tested positive for Coronavirus.

According to the statement, the goalkeeper is currently isolating at home and is “complying with the recommendations of the health authorities and the competition protocol.”

Alongside Lindahl’s case, Toni Duggan, Turid Knaak and Sonia Majarín tested positive last week as well as coach José Luis Sánchez Vera.

Due to the cases, Atlético Madrid postponed their match against Deportivo on 2 April.

They are scheduled to play their next match on 18 April against Sevilla.
