Atletico Madrid eyeing Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski

Atletico Madrid are eyeing Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Polish striker is out of contract in 2023 and an agreement to renew doesn't seem to be forthcoming. Now, according to El Chiringuito, he has emerged as an option for Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid.

Lewandowski, 33, remains in great form for Bayern, with 39 goals in 33 games this season, 28 of them in the Bundesliga.

However, talks to renew his contract seem to have stalled.

For Atletico, it would be a real coup to land the winner of FIFA's The Best. Luis Suarez is out of contract in the summer and Lewandowski would be the ideal replacement for the ex-Barça man at the Wanda Metropolitano.
