Atletico Madrid will be due a massive bonus from Newcastle United should the Magpies beat the drop this season.

While Atletico were seeking €30m to sell Kieran Trippier, the England fullback joined Newcastle a fortnight ago for half that fee.

However, O Jogo reports English sources say another €15m will be due to Atletico should Newcastle stay up.

Trippier is yet to taste victory in a Newcastle shirt.

The England international helped Atletico win the LaLiga title last season.
