Atlético Madrid considering offer for Napoli attacker | OneFootball

The board at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid are mulling over a potential transfer offer for a member of the attacking ranks at Italian champions Napoli.

That’s according to market insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Giacomo Raspadori as the player in question.

It is of course common knowledge across the continent that Atlético remain on the lookout for reinforcements in the final third with a view to next season.

Following the departures of both Ángel Correa and Rodrigo Riquelme, Diego Simeone and co. are of the opinion that the Rojiblancos’ squad is lacking in depth when it comes to attacking options.

With as much in mind, a whole host of players have in turn been tipped as potential arrivals at the Metropolitano this summer.

And as alluded to above, one such option comes in the form of a recently-crowned Serie A champion.

As per a report from journalist Matteo Moretto:

‘Atlético de Madrid has not yet decided whether to submit an official offer to Napoli for Giacomo Raspadori. The Italian forward is an option that Atlético has on the table, but it is not the only one. The Spanish club is still considering its next move.’
