Atlético Madrid have confirmed the signing of Portuguese international Gelson Martins.
The winger has signed a five-year deal after cancelling his contract with Sporting.

Sporting insist that they are owed some form of fee for the deal and had wanted €40m for the winger before he terminated his contract following an attack on the players at the club’s training ground.
The 23-year-old has played 19 times for Portugal and was a member of the squad at the 2018 World Cup.
Gelson scored 25 goals in 125 appearances during his three seasons in the Sporting first team.
