Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has welcomed the club's decision to withdraw from the Super League project.
Simeone was pleased with the call at today's presser ahead of meeting Huesca.

He said, "We were confident that the club would make the best decision, it is good for everyone.
"They told us about the doubts that there were with the situation and what happened at night with the decision to leave the Super League. We understand that it is a nod to our people and above all at the Atlético family.
"There is nothing to hide. I was one of the first to be consulted after the game and I said that I was confident that the club would decide the best for the club and it has been. This is good for everyone."
