Atlético de Madrid have been hit with a significant injury blow on Wednesday.

Pablo Barrios finished yesterday’s Champions League clash with discomfort in his knee and new scans confirmed he could be out long-term.

The 20-year-old has suffered a torn meniscus and the club are reportedly waiting to decide whether or not he will need surgery.

Barrios has made 12 appearances this season, registering one goal and two assists.
