AtlĂ©tico de Madrid have confirmed the extent of the injury suffered by ClĂ©ment Lenglet during Sunday nightâs win over Leganes.
The defender limped off in the 64th minute of the game and had to be replaced by JosĂ© MarĂa GimĂ©nez.
Atleti have confirmed that tests have revealed a sprain to the left knee and ankle.
âThe defender has a grade I sprain of the internal collateral ligament of the left knee and a grade I/II sprain of the deltoid ligament of the left ankle,â the club wrote on social media.
Lenglet will now undergo a period of rehabilitation but itâs unclear at this time how long he will be out of action for.
