Atlético de Madrid have confirmed the signing of Villarreal striker Alexander Sørloth.
Sørloth joins Diego Simeone’s side after a standout season where he narrowly missed out on being LaLiga’s top scorer.

The Norway international finished just one goal behind Girona’s Artem Dovbyk in the race for the Pichici Award.
He moves to the Civitas Metropolitano on a four-year contract after the Yellow Submarine accepted a reported €35m deal.
Sørloth becomes the Colchoneros’ second signing in a day after Robin Le Normand’s arrival was confirmed earlier on Saturday.
