Barcelona have made three great acquisitions this summer in Joan Garcia, Marcus Rashford and Roony Bardghji.
The fact, however, remains that they failed to sign one of their biggest targets of the window in Nico Williams.
The Athletic Club star was said to be ready to undo his error of last year when he rejected Barcelona to stay in the Basque Country for another year. However, everything fell colossally apart at the beginning of July.
Despite reportedly having an agreement in place with the youngster, Barcelona lost Nico to a surprise renewal announcement after failing to assure him of registration in what was a huge blow to their transfer plans.
Facing the media in a recent interview, Athletic Club star and former Barcelona target Nico Williams’ brother, Inaki Williams, opened up on his sibling’s transfer saga.

He began by claiming that most of what was said in the media was fabricated with no element of truth to it, as relayed by Mundo Deportivo.
“My brother not joining Barça? Much of what has been said about Nico is a lie.”
“They have carried out a media campaign, thinking it would work for them. They have dirtied many things,” he added, piling up serious accusations on Barcelona.
The elder of the Williams brothers then went on to state how his younger brother had several options on his table last month, saying,
“My brother Nico had many options of where to go, not just A or B.”
He then elaborated on how the entire saga was not easy on Nico and how it left him with several personal damages.
“What happened with Nico hasn’t been easy. They broke one of his car windows,” he concluded.
