Jules Kounde appears to be waiting to join Chelsea this summer after having agreed personal terms with the club a few days ago.

Kounde is said to be ‘buzzing’ to join Chelsea.

The blues are trying to thrash out a deal that includes Kurt Zouma going to Sevilla in order to get the fee down.

However, as of right now the money part of the deal appears to be a little way off.

But Chelsea are prepared to do whatever it takes to get this deal done, according to The Athletic this morning.

Kounde is a player they have wanted for the last two years and whether Zouma ends up being included or not, Chelsea want to sign Kounde regardless.

He has a release clause of about £68m but it doesn’t look like Chelsea, as of now, will be triggering that, but they do have plans to get the deal done whatever happens.
