Atalanta’s Sead Kolasinac in doubt for Roma with knee injury

Bad news for Gian Piero Gasperini.

Atalanta’s Sead Kolasinac went down earlier today with an apparent knee injury.

The Bosnian defender was forced to leave on a stretcher in the first half of the match against Bologna due to an unnatural twist in his left knee.

Initial assessments suggest a serious injury, to the point that his season could already be over.

Pending instrumental tests, Kolasinac is considered highly doubtful for the league match against Roma, scheduled for the weekend of 10-11 May at the Gewiss Stadium.

His forfeit would be a significant absence for Gasperini, especially at the end of the season that could also be crucial in Europe.
