Atalanta’s move for Almeria’s Marc Pubill falls through | OneFootball

Serie A side Atalanta seemed all but set to sign Almeria’s Marc Pubill but the move has now fallen through.

Pubill had a medical in Bergamo yesterday but it was only the first phase of the medical. Gianluca di Marzio has revealed that the move has fallen through due to multiple reasons.

La Gazzetta dello Sport stated earlier today that the move didn’t go through as there had been increasing doubts about the fact that the second phase of the player’s medical hadn’t taken place and he hadn’t arrived at the club’s training ground to complete the move.

As a result, Atalanta have now withdrawn from the race and that is why La Dea are now interested in Wesley and Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams. Reports have stated that an offer for the Welshman has already been rejected by the Premier League side but TuttoAtalanta have mentioned that they could return with another offer.
