Serie A side Atalanta have received Inter’s first offer for Ademola Lookman but the attempt has been rejected.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim today that Inter put forward a fee of €40 million to La Dea and it is lower than the €50 million that Atalanta wanted.
The offer has been rejected and even though parties are distant, negotiations have begun between the clubs because the first offer has been made. Both sporting directors have been in touch, with Lookman having agreed personal terms with Inter.
He has agreed to sign a five-year deal worth €4 million per season and has said ‘yes’ to Cristian Chivu’s project at Inter.
The Romanian wants to form an aattacking trio involving the Nigerian, Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez. As of now, Inter do not want to go beyond €40 million and Atalanta do not intend to give discounts. Even if talks are on, La Dea are also speaking to Atletico Madrid about a transfer.
