Atalanta defender Djimsiti hints Tottenham target Romero leaving | OneFootball

Atalanta defender Berat Djimsiti has hinted the players expect Cristian Romero to leave this summer.

The Argentina defender is the subject of confirmed negotiations with Tottenham.

"I don't know if he will stay, what I can say is that Cuti is an excellent defender and a great person, I've always felt at ease with him and I wish him the best regardless of what will happen," Albania international Djimisti told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

La Dea have signed Juan Musso from Udinese, sending Pierluigi Gollini to North London.

“We need to work to find the best understanding on the pitch. Musso has spent many seasons in Italy, so hopefully, it will be easier," the Atalanta defender continued.

“I am even more motivated than the last seasons. We are working hard with Gasperini and there are many interesting youths.

“I was really disappointed when we lost the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus, we deserved a title, but we have another season to do even better."
