Atalanta coach Gasperini happy with new additions Musso, Demiral

Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini is happy counting on new additions Juan Musso and Merih Demiral.

The pair featured in the friendly defeat to West Ham.

“It's a good test, it gives you the right conviction on what we can do," Gasperini told the club's official channel. “I'm very happy with Musso and Demiral.

“We only started training together on Monday, we are a bit late, as soon as we recover a bit, we can all do well."

On Demiral, Gasperini continued: "He did well, but so did Musso. They are already selected players, who have a high level of resistance against top opponents.

“It's a good sign, clear that we need total application and availability. Both will give us something good."
