Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini has welcomed praise from Manchester United counterpart Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer spoke of the "Atalanta Way" ahead of tonight's Champions League clash with La Dea.
Gasperini responded: "I must say that as far as I'm concerned I have received many compliments in recent years. Andreazzoli on Sunday too, Fabio Capello a little while ago. They are the most welcome and most beautiful, made by colleagues.
"This recognition is a praise to my work, to my idea of football that I stubbornly try to carry on. It's not always easy. I have to thank the players, they are the ones who allow a visionary, as I am sometimes called, to achieve results."
On facing United at Old Trafford, the veteran coach added, "The level of difficulty is very high, the audience has an added value for Manchester as well. In terms of hope of overcoming the round, there will be two matches, both tomorrow's and our home match, which will not determine the passage of the round."
