Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi has said that his team are working on a deal for Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti but there is not a meeting today, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by TMW, Luca Percassi was asked some very quick questions on Thursday about how Atalanta’s transfer business is going so far this summer and what they are working on now.
One of the players that they are known to be chasing the most is Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti who spent last season at Empoli and managed to score 13 times.
When asked what he thinks of the Italian and whether a deal will be done or not, Luca Percassi did not hide their interest.
“‘He’s an interesting young man, for sure. We’re working on it, we’ll see.”
He did deny the claim that there was going to be a meeting between the two clubs today to agree on a deal, calmly replying: “No, no.”
